TOOLS NEEDED: Drill & 5/16 Bit, small level, hand wrenches.
NOTE: Keep Mudflap perpendicular to the ground during mounting.
STEP 1. Park vehicle on level ground.
STEP 2. Unpackage your Mudflaps and enclosed hardware.
STEP 3. Position the Mudflap to wheelwell of choice, with the vertical
pattern toward
tire.
STEP 4. Align the Mudflap to desired height with a minimum of 7 inches
from ground to
the bottom of the Mudflap.
STEP 5. Drill one hole through Mudflap and wheelwell lip at upper corner
and attach with
one self-tapping screw. Snug the screw, but do
not tighten yet.
STEP 6. Place the level to the outside edge of the Mudflap and adjust for
vertical
plumb.
STEP 7. Drill a second hole in the bottom corner of the Mudflap and wheelwell
lip and secure
with a second screw.
STEP 8. To complete, install the remaining screws, evenly spaced and

Directions
for Installing Rear 14 " Wide Mud Flaps
Tools Needed: Drill and 5/16 bit. 7/16 wrench, small level, tape measure,
and if available, locking pliers.
Hardware Included: 4 pieces of 9" Twist Brackets. Necessary nuts,
bolts and washers.
NOTE: Always check tail pipe clearance of a minimum of 4" to the mud flap prior to
installation. A local muffler shop can easily adjust the tail pipe if necessary.
Step 1: Park your vehicle on a level work area. Remove Mudflaps and
hardware from packaging.
Step 2: With Locking Pliers: Using the trim line that extends along the
length of your truck as a reference point, position the mud flap of choice into the fender
well and using the locking pliers, clamp the mud flap to the fender well at the outside
edge or if available, the fender liner located inside and to the rear of the fender well
or both. The center bolt of Mudflaps with our Stainless Steel Weights should be close to
center of the tire for the best finished appearance. If locking pliers are not available,
skip this step and continue with the next step.
Step 3: Without Locking Pliers: Using the trim line that extends along
the length of your pick up as a reference point, position the mud flap so that it is
Vertically plumb and square to the tire. The center bolt of the mud flap with our
Stainless Steel Weights should be close to the center line of the tire for best finished
appearance.
Step 4: Once the Mudflap is positioned, drill the first hole through the mud flap
and the fender well and secure with a bolt, washer and nut. Snug the bolt but do not yet
tighten.
Step 5: Check mud flap for plumb and square to tire. Repeat Step 4
but in a lower position and again the third bolt and finally, a fourth bolt again evenly
spaced., keeping in mind that the finished bolt pattern should be evenly spaced along the
fender well. Tighten these bolts.
Step 6: Position a Twist Bracket against the "Pinch Weld"
located against the inner bottom of the truck bed (see Picture A) to a
position that is square to the mud flap and parallel to the tire. Drill and bolt the twist
bracket to the pinch weld using one bolt, washer and nut. Then position the other end of
this twist bracket to the back side the mud flap and using the twist bracket as a guide,
drill a hole through the mud flap and fasten with included bolt.
Step 7: Installing the Lower Twist Bracket: Locate the lower rocker panel
brace holding bolt (See Picture "B" and "C
") If possible use this factory bolt as a starting point. If the factory bolt hole is
not desirable, drill a new hole approximately three inches behind the mud flap and through
the Rocker Panel and after placing the Twist Strap inside and on top of Rocker Panel,
attach with included bolt. The Twist Strap should be approximately at a 45 degree angle
and horizontal to the ground. Position the other end of the Twist Strap to the mud flap
and adjust to a plumb position and parallel to the tire.

REAR DUALLY INSTALLATION
Included Parts: Mudflaps, 14 stainless steel bolts, nuts and
washers. 2 pair of twist brackets. 1 Chevy bracket if ordered.
Necessary Tools Needed: Locking pliers, drill motor, a 1/8-inch and
a ¼-inch bit and a 7/16 socket and ratchet.
Step 1: PARK YOUR VEHICLE ON LEVEL WORK AREA. Before starting
the install read all steps, including Auxiliary-mounting Points.
Step 2: Un-package your parts packet and separate 5 bolts, nuts
and washers per side.
Step 3: Position first mudflap with the thicker rib side to the
outside of the fender well and the rain trap pattern to the tire. Line
up the top outside corner of the mudflap with the bodyline that extends
the full length of the truck. Usually this will position the mudflap
approximately 8 inches off the ground. You may adjust this height to
accommodate your specific need.
Step 4: Clamp the inside corner with a pair of locking pliers to
the inner liner. This will make it easier to Plumb the mudflap to the
tire.
Step4: Adjust the mudflap using the locking pliers to secure the
adjustment and check the mudflap for plumb to the tire by sighting down
the side of the truck for a visual plane.
Step5: When the mudflap is plumb, drill first hole through the
top outside corner of the mudflap and the fender well rim and secure
with one bolt. Do not yet tighten bolt.
Step 6: Recheck mudflap for vertical plumb. If plumb, drill
second hole in like manner as first but lower keeping in mind that bolts
should be evenly spaced when finished.
Step 7: Recheck for vertical plumb. Drill third and fourth hole
through mudflap and rim of fender well, evenly spaced, and secure with
bolts.
Step 8: On inside lower corner drill one hole through mudflap
and then the fender liner and secure with last
bolt where
applicable.
Auxiliary
mounting points:
Ford Trucks:
Locate metal brace that is behind the fender liner inside the fenderwell
and behind the tire. Drill 1/8-inch hole through the mudflap, fender
liner and into the metal brace and insert and secure bolt.
Chevy Trucks: Looking
over the tire and at the bottom of the bed, there will be a metal flange
that is approximately ¾ inches wide.
After following steps 1 thru 7, with one hand, move the mudflap to a
position that is parallel to the tire and make a mark on the Flange
Weld. Being careful not to drill too high and therefore penetrate the
bed of the truck, drill one ¼ inch hole and attach the twisted end of
the included twist brackets to the Flange Weld. The twist bracket should
then be behind the mudflap and at approximately a 45-degree angle to the
mudflap. Using the lower hole in the bracket as a guide, drill one ¼
inch hole thru the mudflap and fasten with one bolt.
Lower Twist Bracket: After following steps 1 thru 7 and
installing the Flange Weld Bracket, look under the rear rocker panel,
located behind the mudflap and to the rear of the truck approximately 6
inches. You will see a factory fender strut bolt that secures the fender
via a strut to the frame. Remove the bolt that secures the strut at the
outside fender and place the lower bracket under the strut and reinstall
the factory bolt. Move the Bracket towards the mudflap at approximately
a 45-degree angle and visually check the mudflap to be both vertically
plumb and parallel to the tire. Using the bracket hole as a guide, drill
thru the mudflap and install the last bolt.
